1. Very nice bed

   Excellent communication from the seller. Warned of long lead time at the time of placing the order. When delay occurred in shipping I was promptly notified and give the chance to cancel.
   
   Then the shipment arrived:
   First impression: Wow these guys have either had to issues with bad shippers in the past or have fully anticipated the Samsonite Gorilla handling of their packages. The packages were very well packed, and even after my packages spent 3 days bouncing around the back roads of Vermont in a FedEx truck (some lame excuse about not being able to deliver due to extreme weather, although all 3 days were identical) The boxes were dirty, but completely undamaged.
   
   I was able to bring all 3 boxes into the house by myself. With help I could have carried the heaviest box up the stairs to the bedroom, but I opted to unbox on the 1st floor and bring the components upstairs individually. I was able to set up the entire bed by myself, color is consistent with the photo’s on-line, nice heavy construction, pieces fit together very well and no extra play.
   
   I anticipate this bed will last a very long time.

2. Amazing bed, worth every penny

   My partner and I live in a small ~700 sq ft apartment, and have a king sized bed. We were looking for a quality bed that would last, made of solid wood, with a headboard and plenty of space under it for our two cats to play. This bed fit what we were looking for EXACTLY.
   
   The bed is not just beautiful and sturdy, but amazingly comfortable. Without changing mattresses, this bed has easily given us the best sleep of our lives. There's also enough space under the bed that our cats now have more floorspace to enjoy in our small place, without sacrificing our king mattress.
   
   Time from placing the order to the bed shipping was about as expected-- ordered in July and shipped in September. It was honestly worth the wait. It was easy to assemble, and arrived in several well-packages boxes. The headboard (we ordered the Magari Platform Headboard as well) was the heaviest and most unwieldy to deal with, but again- about what you're expecting for a solid wood headboard!
   
   Great quality, very pleased with our purchase. No complaints!

3. High quality bed frame

   Bed frame is very high quality and easy to assemble. It took me longer to open up all the packaging than to actually put the bed together. I'm very happy with my purchase.
   
   Couple things I was surprised by but not really an issue for me.
   1. The honey oak color is a little lighter than in the photos. If you google "grainwood shaker 5-drawer dresser - walnut" that's the color you should expect.
   
   2. The corners of the bed are larger than I thought they would be.

5. The bed is sturdy and the service is really 5 stars

   First of all, the bed frame I received is not perfect, it has a chip on the corner of one of the longer beam. The packages were well packed and intact so I guess it was damage before shipping. it's not a small scratch but a chip and it's visible and should be spotted easily before packing. It doesn't affect any functionality and the bed is sturdy and pretty still. Each beam interlock each other perfectly. But just knowing there's a chip on one of the corner for a brand new and expensive bed frame. I can't unsee it.
   However, I will still give it 5 stars is because its service is wonderful. They responded all my email or message the next business day. I asked if I can change my payment card and they left a message saying they will ask me before shipping and they did. Even just for the service, I would recommend buying from them. Don't mention the product is high quality. At least, almost perfect for me.
   Even they said it might be 6 to 8 weeks waiting time but I got mine about 4 weeks later which it's totally understandable because of the whole covid situation. I assembled the whole bed frame by myself and there's no problem at all. The instruction was clear and it has all the tools you need.
   Overall, the waiting time is reasonable, the packing is great, the bed is sturdy and beautiful, the assemble is smooth and easy, the material is real wood as they promised and the service is definitely 5 stars.
   Don't get scared just because the website looks like the style of 90'. It is a totally legit company and, unlike other online furniture companies, it has a phone number and real person customer service. Not just only email.
   One thing I would suggest is the matching nightstands. With my mattress on this tall bed frame, it is 25 inches tall. But the tallest nightstands they have in the product line is only 19 inches tall which is way too low for my standard. I wish tatamiroom will have another taller nightstands option. I would say may be at least 23 inches height.

6. A nice surprise

   I purchased the Tatami bed with the Magari headboard in the honey oak finish. The finish of the bed was fantastic, the bed was well made and easy to assemble. The Magari headboard was a little tricky to assemble because all the pieces are interlocking so you need just the right angle for them to fit. I did a lot of shopping and found this to be the best price available for this style of bed. I was very impressed with the quality and workmanship of the bed and head board. The boxes that the bed was shipped in protected the bed from damage, not a scratch, dent, or ding. Overall great product and highly recommend.

   We purchased the tall tatami platform bed with headboard and matching nightstands in honey oak and are very pleased with each item. The bed was easy to assemble and the nightstands come fully assembled. Good quality products!

9. Worth the wait

   Had to wait 4 months for it to arrive, but we are extremely happy with the bed which is well worth the extended shipping times. It's extremely solid, bright wood color and looks awesome in our bedroom. We were originally considering a few other bed companies but the quality of the product and customer support make Tatmiroom a stand out in the market.

10. Beautiful bed frame!

    We had to wait 3-4 months, but it was worth the wait for a frame I consider a long term investment. It's very sturdy, and the high platform was great for us since we could store more below. I also really enjoy the finish, so smooth!
