1. So happy and worth the wait.

   I am so pleased with the tall tatami platform bed in honey. I ordered the king-size with a headboard. The reason I went with Tatamiroom vs the other company is because I wanted to have a stable headboard. The other company had bad reviews with the headboards. (unstable). I was fine with the shipping time, good things are worth the wait! The quality of the product is top-notch. Sturdy pieces and beautifully finished. I am glad I went with honey, it is a nice golden color. I had to assemble the bed by myself and found it easy. All the pieces fit nicely together. It took under 1 hour to assemble the bed. I had to figure out, on my own, to omit the top board when using the headboard. It was easy to take the board out and install the headboard. The only tricky part of the assembly was installing the center stability bar. I started with the headboard attachment and had to lift the footboard slightly up to line up the stability bar. I rank this bed 5 stars for quality, price, and ease of assembly. Also, their customer service is very responsive.

2. Beautiful bed

   The hardest part was waiting for the bed! I ordered the Mado headboard and storage drawers to go along with the Tatami bed frame, and those two items were delayed a bit, so I opted to wait for everything to be ready before they shipped the bed. In all, it took 3 months to receive everything. Putting it together was straightforward and pretty easy, and I'm pleased with the quality. The honey oak color is very nice. It's beautiful and quiet.

   The bed frame came in the timely manner estimated by the shipping process (no additional delays). Customer service was able to answer all questions and the bed frame arrived thoughtfully packaged for protection. Set up was literally 5 steps and the frame is very very sturdy and good quality wood.

5. Honey Oak sturdy and easy to assemble

   We didn't realize how much our old bed frame wiggled until we got this. Very solid yet easy to put together. The honey oak color is a bit darker and more yellow than the photos, but close enough that it doesn't feel like false advertisement. Using tatami mats as the "box springs" under our mattress makes it even more sturdy since the mats fit perfectly snug in the base. In combination with the matching drawers to put underneath, this is a very nice set that feels like it will last a long time.

   We are so happy with our Tall tatami bed! After sleeping on a squeaky bed for 2 years, it was time for an upgrade. This bed is beautifully made, ships in tons of packaging to ensure no damage, and is so easy to put together. The tall heights allows us to have underbed storage space. We got it with the Mado Classic headboard and it looks amazing! Jason and Pin are the best customer service folks I’ve ever worked with, talking me through the different height options , shipping options etc. You won’t be disappointed with this purchase! Worth the wait.

   i ordered my bed and read the note that it could take up to 8 weeks t ship out. i got it a few weeks earlier than expected! so happy with the bed. it was easy to put together by myself!
   
   it's sturdy and very well made. highly recommend!!

8. Very nice bed

   Excellent communication from the seller. Warned of long lead time at the time of placing the order. When delay occurred in shipping I was promptly notified and give the chance to cancel.
   
   Then the shipment arrived:
   First impression: Wow these guys have either had to issues with bad shippers in the past or have fully anticipated the Samsonite Gorilla handling of their packages. The packages were very well packed, and even after my packages spent 3 days bouncing around the back roads of Vermont in a FedEx truck (some lame excuse about not being able to deliver due to extreme weather, although all 3 days were identical) The boxes were dirty, but completely undamaged.
   
   I was able to bring all 3 boxes into the house by myself. With help I could have carried the heaviest box up the stairs to the bedroom, but I opted to unbox on the 1st floor and bring the components upstairs individually. I was able to set up the entire bed by myself, color is consistent with the photo’s on-line, nice heavy construction, pieces fit together very well and no extra play.
   
   I anticipate this bed will last a very long time.

9. Amazing bed, worth every penny

   My partner and I live in a small ~700 sq ft apartment, and have a king sized bed. We were looking for a quality bed that would last, made of solid wood, with a headboard and plenty of space under it for our two cats to play. This bed fit what we were looking for EXACTLY.
   
   The bed is not just beautiful and sturdy, but amazingly comfortable. Without changing mattresses, this bed has easily given us the best sleep of our lives. There's also enough space under the bed that our cats now have more floorspace to enjoy in our small place, without sacrificing our king mattress.
   
   Time from placing the order to the bed shipping was about as expected-- ordered in July and shipped in September. It was honestly worth the wait. It was easy to assemble, and arrived in several well-packages boxes. The headboard (we ordered the Magari Platform Headboard as well) was the heaviest and most unwieldy to deal with, but again- about what you're expecting for a solid wood headboard!
   
   Great quality, very pleased with our purchase. No complaints!

10. High quality bed frame

    Bed frame is very high quality and easy to assemble. It took me longer to open up all the packaging than to actually put the bed together. I'm very happy with my purchase.
    
    Couple things I was surprised by but not really an issue for me.
    1. The honey oak color is a little lighter than in the photos. If you google "grainwood shaker 5-drawer dresser - walnut" that's the color you should expect.
    
    2. The corners of the bed are larger than I thought they would be.
