Tatami Platform Bed Frame in Honey Oak - The low platform bed frame is made of 100% solid hardwood (Parawood-environmentally friendly wood) in satin finish. Includes 18 pairs of wooden slats (2" spacing) to support any standard size mattress. This Japanese style platform bed is constructed with interlocking frames that requires no brackets or screws for easy assembly.
*Complete platform bed set comes with Tatami mat(s) to create a serenity space for meditation or sitting area, Japanese futon mattress may be added for sleeping that provide excellent back support and comfort (sold separately).

Well-made, solid and beautiful platform bed

This platform bed frame is solid, well-made and high quality. I love the Japanese style. It arrives in multiple boxes via FedEx freight. The honey oak is slightly lighter than we expected from the photos, but still beautiful and fits our bedroom. Assembling the middle support in the bed frame was very challenging, as the bolt drops slightly in the hole, making it hard to line up the screw (this is hard to describe, but is clear when you are assembling). We put 2 small rubber bands in the bottom of the bolt hole to slightly raise the bolt. We love the low profile of the bed, and the frame pieces fit together well. The bed works well for our foam mattress. I also love that we were able to purchase matching nightstands. We also ordered the matching Mado headboard.

After searching through many websites I decided on the tatami platform bed. I wanted as close to a Japanese feel, clean lines, elegantly styled and beauty in the wood. I was pleased to see the level in care how the wood arrived. The packaging was extremely detailed. How awesome to open from packaging gorgeous woods and nor any imperfections on the wood. The assembly was stunningly designed. I want this to be the last platform I will ever need. BRAVO TATAMI ROOM.

Fantastic platform frame

After searching the web for quite some time, I found the frame I've been looking for. Sturdy. Quality craftsmanship. Easy assembly (took one person around 30 minutes). I did end up ordering the TALL legs for a slightly higher frame, but that just came down to preference once I saw it assembled in the room. Other than that, I couldn't be any happier with the frame!

The bed looks great. I just purchased the bed and put it together, so can't yet speak to the long term longevity. Hopefully, it'll last.

Love this bed. Helps to keep the tatami mat off the floor with the air circulating above and below. Also, low enough so that you still have to bend down to get into it (I wanted this). Great design - strong material. I'm hoping that it will last me for decades - perhaps be my very last bed.

We purchased this after looking around for months. We finally decided on this one and I love how it looks. However, I will say that the actual color is not as dark as in the picture. I'm not sure if it's just my computer or the actual picture. This bed is very sturdy!

At first I was really skpetical about the website because I had never heard about it, but I'm really happy that I came across this website. I got a beautiful platform bed it was really well wrapped and it didn't take long to get ship to my house!

I had pretty high expectations for this bed after reading the reviews, and they were met and exceeded. Such a beautiful, elegant, sturdy design. I keep walking back into the bedroom just to look at the bed, because it makes me ridiculously happy.
Especially for the price range, this bed compares favorably with those $1000+ beds on amazon. Imported from Indonesia, if anyone is wondering. Thank you!

Absolutely amazed with this this tatami bed. The quality of this is top notch and the way it is packaged for shipment is well done. I knew it would be nice, but once I saw it and put the bed together, I just couldn't believe the craftsmanship!
