Product Description
The space efficient Wakayama platform bed frame features interlocking Japanese joinery assembly and mattress to frame correspondence. Constructed of solid hardwood (Parawood, also known as rubber tree wood), the Japanese architectural influenced bed frame has pyramid-shaped inset legs, two center support legs, and center support with wooden slats less than two inches apart. This versatile bed frame may be used with or without a box spring, and the height of this headboard is adjustable to accommodate a 10 or 13 inch mattress. *Headboards are sold separately.

WOW! The only word we all can utter to describe the finished product. SOLID, EASY of assemble, BEAUTIFUL, SIMPLE but elegant. PERFECT height and comfortable to sleep on. Delivered on time. No damage. Bought 2 Wakayama queen platform beds. It was worth waiting for. Will recommend to others.

Exactly what we were looking for. It is really solidly built, no creaks or sway. It was very easy to put together. It is absolutely beautiful, especially with the headboard. We really like the lower height, with our mattress it is a perfect sitting height. We couldn't be happier.

This bed didn't just meet my expectations, it blew them out of the water! This is not wood veneer. It's solid thick pieces of wood. Nothing less than an actual inch thick, probably thicker. Amazing craftsmanship. If you have to screw in something there's a dowel rod to guide you. The headboard is simply stunning. The legs are solid blocks of wood about 6 inches square. The pictures on the website don't do it justice. One word of caution... This is one heavy bed. Will deliver in 5 separate boxes.

This piece is very nice and comfortable to sleep on. The instructions are a tad confusing as there are no written words and the pictures aren't clear which hardware you use for each piece you put together, but eventually you will figure it out. All in all, great buy!

We love our new frame: it's solid, stable, and looks really nice. We chose to add the headboard, so that it gives a classy touch to the whole frame, and makes reading in bed more comfortable.
The delivery process was smooth and easy; the frame arrived in very good condition and was easy to assemble.

I am 110% pleased with my new queen bed from Tatamiroom.com. It arrived quickly and was packed very neatly and protected. The bed itself is very cool and was not too difficult to put together at all. I love how low to the ground the bed is, and that I do not need a box spring. I will look to Tatamiroom.com for future needs.

Love this frame. Looks great, appears to be solid and should last for many many years. Very easy to assemble, as well as disassemble if you are planning on moving. Well worth the price considering the many horrible options out there.
