This is a really unique and well made bed. When searching for a new bed we were really trying to find something that was functional and had a gap in the back for some air circulation. I was hesitant on ordering from a smaller company but I’m so glad we did! We really love the honey oak finish as it matches our other lighter color furniture. We were a little concerned when the bed arrived though, it looked like FedEx dropped it off every truck before delivery. But no worries, the folks at Tatami Room had packed the components well enough that there was only one tiny indent in an area that was not going to be seen. It was really easy to put together and we love it!

Extremely well made and precisely fit pieces. Able to support well over 1000 lbs. No more bashing your shines on the bed frame. I will be ordering another bed frame for the guest room.

This is a great bedframe, uses some really neat joinery but also uses bolts and barrel nuts which hold the whole frame together really nicely. Once put together its really solid. All in all really nice frame, a cleaver mix of modern and tradition tech.

Said six week delay in shipping when I ordered online but showed up in two or three days. I live in Los Angeles which might be why it was so fast. Easy to assemble, nice solid construction. And looks good too. Much much better than my old Ikea frame. Would recommend.

This is an awesome and well made bed. We really love the honey oak finish. We were a little concerned when the bed arrived though . . . it looked like FedEx had drug it behind a dump truck prior to delivery. But no worries . . . the folks at Tatami Room had packed the components well enough there was no damage inside! Lastly, we really appreciated the friendly staff whom ensured an awesome ordering experience.

From the impeccable joinery (you'll see), to the precise fitment and extreme ease of assembly, Very happy with purchase. And finally, a company that doesn't cut corners on packaging, making sure everything gets shipped safe and sound. THANK YOU. I will be using this bed until I die.

Ordered the Tall Wakayama as a base for my new CASPER Wave mattress. If you want to use a slat style base for those type of mattresses, it needs to be flat slats (not bowed like the ones from IKEA) with spacing under 3”. The Wakayama setup was perfect and is a great base for my new CASPER.
The shipping packaging was also very thorough and ensured none of the parts would be damaged in transit.
