   I've had this bed for 2 years now and it is incredible! I'm not a back pain person at baseline but if I do get a twinge or a minor injury I just sleep on it for a night and wake up good as new! Very solid and high quality construction with excellent and responsive customer service - they are knowledgeable and quick to answer questions. I would recommend buying a thicker futon mattress from elsewhere but the bed itself is fantastic. Shipping does take time (understandably) but it's totally worth it.

3. High quality bed

   I love my bed. It is an elegant, solid, classy bed. It is just much darker than I thought. It is basically black. It came very well packed on a large pallet. It took us around an hour to put it together. The trickiest was to install the center support rail with the end bed one, at the same time.
   Since it is solid wood, it is very heavy, so get ready to have some help moving the pieces ( we got six, headboard included)
   I recommend the product to everyone who wants a beautiful bed.

   This bed is very sturdy, doesn't squeak, and was extremely simple to assemble. One of our tatami mats arrived scratched and a replacement was shipped with no hassle and no complicated return shipping. I'm extremely happy with this product and with this company! We will be back.

6. Beautiful Solid Wood

   I am very pleased with my beautiful solid wood Tall Platform Bed in Dark Walnut! The color is what I would call espresso or very dark brown and it is just what I was looking for. The finish is smooth and unblemished and the packaging protected it perfectly. It took my son and I about 30 minutes to assemble---very simple. The unboxing takes longer than the assembly due to the extreme care taken with shipping. Each component fits together like a glove so that there is zero movement or creaking. I also bought the Mado Classic Platform Headboard which simply replaces the top board that you would normally use for the platform bed so you can just store that in case you choose not to use the headboard at a later date. The headboard also fits tightly so that there is zero movement. I am 5'7" and have a 12" foam mattress and when seated in bed, the top of the headboard is at the top of my shoulders for reference on its height. The platform bed and headboard are such a good value for high quality pieces!

7. Nine months sleeping on this bed and no regrets!

   The tall platform Tatami bed frame is a beautiful dark wood, smooth, solid, and well built. The frame plus the tatami mats is extremely sturdy and doesn't move or wobble when my 6'3" 215 lb husband rolls over or gets up in the middle of the night. We are both tall and the height of this taller platform works well for us. If you are looking for a firm sleeping experience and a well-crafted bed frame, we highly recommend this bed from Tatami Room! Everything we received from Tatami Room came as described, including the two drawer units, the futon cover/shams, and the headboard. You will love their products and will not be disappointed.

   I debated between this and the Thuma. Ultimately I chose this company for their customer service. The bedframe is incredible and I am glad I went with Tatamiroom.

9. Gorgeous Platform Bed

   This is the second Tatamiroom order that our family has placed. Our daughter was the first to purchase one of their beds for her first apartment. We were so impressed by the quality of her bed that we decided to order a second bed for her bedroom at home for when she comes to visit. I am so glad we did. I love this bed.
   
   My husband's grandfather made custom furniture, so my husband is extremely picky when it comes to both the wood and workmanship. The Tall Tatami Platform Bed had him nodding in approval upon inspection. The finish of the wood is smooth and integrates with the Mado Headboard seamlessly. One small comment my husband did make was that he wished the center support also had the same coloring as the bed instead of the lighter wood, but that is just his preference.
   
   Be forewarned, the wood is darker than it appears on screen. When they say in the title, Dark Walnut, they mean it. Again, this is still a five-star bed but I just wanted to let others know not to trust how your monitor displays colors. The bed is darker. Our daughter's other bed, which was purchased a few years ago, is the Honey Oak and is extremely light. Since the pictures show it darker on the website, I thought the Tall Platform Bed may be on the lighter side as well. It was just the opposite.
   
   The shipping company did a great job and delivered the bed earlier than expected, which is always a nice surprise.
   
   I would not hesitate to recommend Tatamiroom.com to any of my friends or family when they are looking to purchase their next bed. If you are on the fence about placing an order-- don't hesitate-- just do it! =)

    Quality, service, price, and response are all that great companies offer! The product I received was PERFECT! Assembly was simple with minimal screws (4) to utilize. Their response to an issue (a part missing) was immediate! It did not delay my assembly or use of the platform and they kept me informed of the status. I will always do business with Tatami Room! You will not be disappointed! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
