TALL Tatami Platform Bed Frame Natural Finish with 15in high legs - This Japanese style platform bed is constructed with interlocking frames that requires no brackets or screws for easy assembly. The Tall platform bed frame is made of 100% solid hardwood (Parawood-environmentally friendly wood) in satin finish. Includes 18 pairs of wooden slats (2" spacing) to support any standard size mattress.
*Complete platform bed set comes with Tatami mat(s) to create a serenity space for meditation or sitting area, Japanese futon mattress may be added for sleeping that provide excellent back support and comfort (sold separately).

Solid as a Rock

This bed is super sturdy, and assembly is simple. The wait time is long, but Customer Service was responsive in updating the ETA. It is very well packaged and arrived with no damage.

Love the bed frame. The wait was quite long, and we medium wish we'd gone with the honey oak instead of natural finish. But the bed came together really quickly. Was packaged amazingly, and is so incredibly sturdy! I feel grounded and secure in my bed now :D

First, the quality of the product was first rate and it went together like a breeze! Excellent quality for the price! Next, the bed could not have been better packed for shipment. Someone thought about how to pack it well to protect it from dents and scratches.

Worth the wait!

I love my queen bed. Easy to assemble and follow easy instructions. Great material, solid wood, smooth surface and high quality finish. A little bit heavy for one person to assemble it but I was able to do it. I did not expect it to be that heavy but I love the look and it’s a solid bed. It took 3 months to get it, but it was worth the wait. I recommended it to my friend. He liked the style. Thank you for everything.

Well worth the wait

I could not be more pleased with this bed. It assembled in under 15 minutes with 1 person. It is sturdy and does not squeak despite rigorous movement. The fact that it is solid wood with Japanese joinery means this bed will outlast me and my kids. I look forward to passing it down to one of my grandchildren some day. We would all be better off if we bought quality well made products instead of the cheapest thing we can get shipped to our door in 2 days. I do yourself and your grandchildren a favor and buy this bed!

It was a long wait but I'm very happy with this bed, the mado classic headboard and the the two tall bedside tables I ordered, in natural. Assembly was easy, customer service was responsive. The build is sturdy and the finish is calming with no yellow tones and has a smoothness and light shine that gives a slight plastic appearance. I wish the bedside tables were slightly higher to reach the mattress, and the headboard could be taller, but it makes very little difference. We got rid of our boxspring and have our spring mattress on the slats - I can't tell the difference and it seems well supported.

This bed is so sturdy and the natural color wood is so lovely. Very sturdy and you can’t really feel it when someone else gets in the bed. Doesn’t move around. Stays put. This bed is easy to put together. Taking it out of the packaging took longer than putting the bed together. It is packaged really well and shipped in perfect condition.

I absolutely love my new bed. I’m still waiting for the drawers to come but am aware there is a back order. If they are anything like the bed it will be worth the wait. The bed came earlier than expected and is very well protected in the packaging. It’s was very easy to put together by myself. I’m not a big person and although the wood and mats are quite heavy, I didn’t have any problems getting it together and the instructions were well written and easy to follow. I love how clean the lines are on the bed and how well made it is. I’ve been looking for a bed like this for several years and am so happy to have found Tatami Room. When I get the drawers I’ll leave a review on them as well. Thank you Tatami Room!

Very satisfied with the quality of the bed. As mentioned by other reviewer, even though it went together very easily, the instructions are minimal, could have had details on steps and included with and without headboard instructions. Plan on enjoying the set for years to come.
