1. Nice looking and very sturdy, but installation instruction should improve

   Pros: I have used this bed for a few weeks and really like it. It was very simple in design, looking good in contemporary or minimalist design house, and obviously pretty well made with no noise. The installation was simple. I would recommend this bed to everyone who is still considering.
   Cons: The installation is actually really simple but the instruction was a disaster. The printing quality of the instruction was really poor so we spent a lot of time on figuring out the parts because it's almost impossible to recognize those parts in the instruction as the resolution is really low. One other thing is the headboard. I believe I saw many other reviews about this point too. If you buy a headboard at the same time, the headboard will replace one of the long beam in the bed, so it's a waste of material and add another headache to us on disposing an extra long wood beam. Furthermore, the instruction of bed was not clear about that one long beam will be replaced by the headboard, so after we finally completed the installation of bed and start to install the headboard, we realized we had to uninstalled the long beam that we just installed and put on the headboard.
   
   Overall I still like the bed a lot, but the installation instruction could have been much better. Also it will be good if Tatamiroom can consider to sell bed and headboard in set to avoid the one un-needed long beam to the customers.

   Minor notes: two extra instructions would have helped:
   1. instruction when to put in headboard
   2. instruction how to put middle beam in both sides same time on king

4. Solid foundation, attractive design

   As other reviews have noted, the frame is really sturdy and doesn't wiggle or creak, even with the tool-less assembly. The natural finish looks good and I love how the tatami is secure and flush with the top of the frame.

6. Love the new Bed & Headboard! Would recommend!

   I ordered this in late May and got it in late July, so don't expect it next week or anything but it's certainly worth waiting for. Everything goes together very nicely with just 2 screws for the middle support. The corners and headboard remind me of the puzzle boxes where everything is very well fitted and goes together very well. It's solid wood, the support slats are thick and strong, and I was able to put it all together without a 2nd set of hands.

   Beautiful and reasonably-priced bed frame (did a lot of online comparisons). I live on the West Coast, and delivery was within timeframe they specified (it was a little longer due to COVID, but all of that was transparent and communicated at the time of purchase). The frame was well-packaged, but also not overly packaged, which I appreciate. The product was just as described, both in color (I purchased the Natural color) and the solid wood construction. This frame will last a long time! Looks just like the picture. The tatami mats fit perfectly into the frame, were well-made and had a grass smell (didn't bother me) that dissipated over time. You need to wipe it down with a wet cloth first and let it dry before using.
   
   The frame is perfectly very stable, doesn't creak (which is why I got rid of my last bed frame), and straight-forward to assemble when you follow the instructions. I also got the taller headboard, which is fits perfectly and completes the frame.

    We decided to get this king size tatami bed to replace our 10 yrs old queen size Simmons beautyrest mattress. We glad we did that. The bed frame is very solid and tatami are in nice quality!
