Magari Platform headboard is an optional piece for our Platform Bed collections. Framed in 100% solid hardwood. Headboard is simply interlock onto the bed rails and legs.

Lovely addition to the bed

I ordered this headboard to go with the tall Yamaguchi bedframe, and after a week of use I really like it. It's a heavy, one-piece headboard, and I found it the most difficult piece to move around by myself during assembly, but I managed without mishap. I did find assembling the central support bar a bit tricky with the headboard and rest of the frame already put together - I ended up removing the rail at the foot of the bed, bolting in the support bar to it, and then replacing the rail so it would connect with the headboard. I also would have preferred to not have been sent the head rail as well as the headboard, because now I have a spare bedframe part. But overall I'm very happy with both the headboard and bed frame.

I ordered this in late May and got it in late July, so don't expect it next week or anything but it's certainly worth waiting for. It's a solid headboard and I have no fears of it ever cracking or breaking. The perfect finish to the platform bed.

The headboard is beautiful and very easy to add to the bed. The bonus is that it's surprisingly comfortable to lean against! I purchased it for my young son's bed, and it'll be easy to prop myself against it when reading stories.

Solid wood, sturdy and beautiful headboard

Completes my tall tatami platform bed. Fits perfectly into it. Absolutely recommend. If your mattress is over 10in thick, definitely go for the tall rather than the shorter headboard. Color (natural) is an exact match for my bed frame.

It was the perfect size for the same reason as the other reviewer before me... it fit perfectly under at 32" window. We placed two of these beds in the same room and they look fantastic. We are not using them with the tatami bed but a conventional 9" foam mattress.

Nice low-profile headboard

We needed a headboard that fit under a window only 32 inches above the floor. This one fit the bill and looks very nice. We paired it with the tatami bed and like the clean look and the convenience of having it to lean on. We like the natural finish.
