1. Great solid bed frame, excessive packaging material

   This frame is beautiful and sturdy. It was extremely easy to put together. The hardest part of the assembly was unpackaging: each piece was wrapped in multiple layers of styrofoam, plastic, tape, cardboard, and more tape. I understand the need to protect it during shipping, but packaging was excessive and not eco-friendly. The frame has not squeaked or loosened at all. It is solid, heavy wood. Great quality for the price. Overall, I am happy with my purchase.

2. Beautiful investment

   The bed is solid and does not make any creaking or squeaking. I love it as my first investment in furniture I could use for life! I ordered it initially without the headboard and am looking forward to one day purchasing it. It was meticulously packaged with an outer box, foam, inner box, and plastic covering each piece. It took about as long to unpack all the pieces as it did to put them together! It arrived in about 7 weeks which was nice because I had ordered when a 8-12 week delivery estimate was given at checkout.

   I ordered a king Ensui with headboard. It's beautiful. It took about 7.5 weeks to arrive, but went together easily, looks high end/expensive and a few nights in: zero squeaks.

4. It's so beautiful I want to cry

   I bought the queen-size Ensui frame with a headboard. I love it. The finish is stunning and I love the warm honey color. I wouldn't have minded a slightly taller headboard since my mattress is on the taller side, but it truly makes me happy to see it when I walk into my bedroom. The piece is super sturdy and I adore how it all fits together like a puzzle. It's definitely possible to put the bed with the headboard together all alone; but, I would highly recommend a friend to help out if you don't want added stress about scratching your new investment and/or struggling with how to support the headboard as you lift it and slide it into position.
   
   I also specifically want to thank the staff for being extremely nice with all my requests (both shipping and order changes). They were very responsive and always polite and understanding.

5. A special piece I'll have for years to come!

   Truly loving the queen size Ensui frame. I'm very glad I went with tatami room (was considering Thuma, others). I was quoted a 6 week delivery and it arrived by the 4th week! Customer service was also prompt and so kind in answering questions (a real person, the first try)! The quality is gorgeous, feels like a special piece of furniture that I will be able to take care of for years to come. The packaging was very thorough - it actually took longer to unpack everything than to assemble. Seriously happy with my purchase - would recommend 100% to others!

   Sturdy as it gets and very easy to put together. The finish is also beautiful. I got it without the headboard but will be getting the headboard eventually because of how nice the rest of the bed looks and how sturdy it is.

7. Best bed frame I've ever seen/used!

   Before buying anything, I research the best quality at the best price. I wanted to avoid any bed frame that drew its strength from brackets and hardware screwed into the wood of the frame. I figured that design was a week point, and Japanese Joinery solved that problem.
   
   This bed is amazing! The wood itself is not only beautiful and smooth, but strong and very, very sturdy. Made from solid rubberwood (a sustainable rubberwood), I expect this frame to last a lifetime.
   
   The fact that the corners fit together snuggly, the frame is super solid once it's put together. Couldn't be happier...well worth the money.
   
   Tatami Room - a great outfit. Family fun business with super friendship/helpful staff. They helped me with some special request with my order in a very professional, clear manner...making for a very enjoyable shopping experience.
   
   I've become somewhat of a promoter in my community, raving about these beds and Tatami Room...thank you so much for making these beds readily available at a good price!

   Arrived after one month and was easy to put together. Looks beautiful and the Japanese joinery is sturdy and attractive. Great support too. Very happy with purchase and more affordable than Thuma!

9. King Quality

   Wanted something minimalist and super stable, previously had a cheap metal frame with a 1000 loose screws that was noisy, rickety hell. Fell down some reddit holes until I got here. It was a long wait (6 weeks) but Tatamiroom disclaimed that up front. It was easy to put together for me and my partner. It's beautiful, and substantial - turns me into a dad saying "they just don't make them like this anymore". I keep my running my hands over it. We got the king and it doesn't budge a bit when my partner and I plop down at the end of the day. Was debating between this and Thuma, really glad I chose Tatamiroom.

    This bed is extremely solid, well made and beautiful. Worth the wait and as easy to put together as the various reviews suggest. Very quick reply wrt the order status. Incredibly happy!
